Sutherland Seedlings invests in its greenhouse capacity

As part of their drive to supply quality seedlings, on time, Sutherland Seedlings has invested in a second greenhouse structure that is nearing completion.

“Before we had invested in these greenhouses, the weather played a huge role in the growth of our seedlings, making it very difficult to produce seedlings according to our customers dispatch date” says Shaun Biggs. “We chose these Vegtech greenhouses as they give us the tools to manipulate the climate if we find we are ahead or behind our production plan, with obvious benefits to our growers” says Shaun. The second greenhouse will be completed well before spring 2017 orders are sown, and Sutherland Seedlings invites its customers to pay the nursery a visit to view the new facilities.
